Westbank

This year at Tulloch Nursery we are strengthening our commitment to outdoor play and learning.

One aspect of our outdoor play and learning will be to continue our partnership with the Perth and Kinross Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) Westbank Outdoor Project.

The ELC Westbank Outdoor Project is an area of outdoor space and woodland positioned off Jeanfield Road next to the Perth Community Farm.

Children attending local authority nurseries across North Perth are invited along with their nursery staff to experience extended periods of outdoor play and learning including opportunities to explore the large natural site, run, jump, climb, join in bug hunts, learn to recognise local plant and animal species and participate in planting and growing in the large on-site polytunnel. The site also features a ‘cosy cabin’ providing a covered area and space for children to shelter and rest.
